kuroshitsuji ep 2, skip beat!, bleach 191
woohoo! while waiting for more subbed gintama crack there seems to be two other worthwhile weekly anime to follow. (and i'm saving the ones on youku.com for when i'm more depressed to cheer me up. gintama is excellent prozac.)

one of them is kuroshitsuji, which i have mentioned earlier. well, i don't see the plot yet, but the characters seem promising thus far. i like the premise, and i like both the butler and the little bocchan (gosh, maaya sakamoto <3); both seem very formidable. i don't really like the megane maid, because she's clearly just there for the moes. i quite like the other two servants though, although i can't tell if one of them is a guy/girl. *checks wiki* hmm?!?!?! it's a he! :O anw. kuroshitsuji looks like it's set to be a somewhat dark comedy, although i'm not sure if i can call it that entirely. the humour per se is not dark, and the darkness per se is not humourous. so it's a.... dark/comedy. :P

the other is skip beat!, which was recced by at least two people already. it seems somewhat shoujo, but at least the main character seems relatively likeable, and the plot seems to be getting somewhere... a little... though somewhat predictable. but hey! i'm short on laughs here okay? :P i don't really like the drawing though (the guys' faces are so long!) but i do like it when they all go chibified.

while eating dinner i also watched bleach 191. finally it's getting back to real plot :P. but i think the best parts in there was 1) pesche's appearance (gasp, not even nell's!) and 2) the OP and ED. HAHAHA. i actually am strangely drawn to the OP drawings, even if i overtly hate the colour scheme. but whee! i like the ED drawings loads! <3 the vizards (yay! shinji! PLUS i await sugita tomokazu as kensei! banzai!) and <3 cute!urahara! what are you doing with isshin, urahara-san?? hahahaha! yeah well. that were the best parts of the ep. i am sorely waiting for the turn back the pendulum arc. well, at least, i'm waiting for the fights between szayel and that thin weirdo with a moon scythe thing to end (c'mon _______ and ______, get your butts here already and finish them). but okay, next ep at least there'll be nell as she really is. too bad i like the kid version better. :P oh, urahara, you certainly deserve your own series; why let ichigo take all the glory? boohoo.
